Mercedes Benz GLB Class
The latest class of Mercedes Benz was launched as Mercedes Benz GLB class as Shanghai Auto Show in 2019. This car designed under the category of five-door luxury compact crossover and featured with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive mode. When comparing the size, this car positioned between GLA class and GLC class. The GLB Class is more rugged looking when comparing to the GLA and GLC classes. All the exterior designs are a little bit similar to the Mercedes Benz X class (Pick up class) than all other Mercedes Benz SUVs.
Mercedes Benz GLB Performance
This car comes with three different engines. 1.3-liter turbo petrol, 2-liter turbo petrol, and 2-liter turbo diesel are them. Also featured with two types of transmissions. There are 7-speed dual-clutch and 8-speed dual-clutch. This engine produces horsepower between 148hp - 302hp and also produces torque between 250 Nm - 400 Nm. The most powerful 2-liter turbo petrol engine can reach 60 mph from 0 mph within 5.2 seconds.
The car powered with four matic four-wheel-drive systems. Also featured with the electronic clutch. With the aid of this clutch, the vehicle can quickly action on wheels. It' s very important for offroading. This option comes with three modes and Comfort mode, Offroad mode and Sport mode are them. The offroad mode can distribute the same power to the front and rear axels to keep the stability and traction of the car while offroading.
Mercedes Benz GLB Interior
All the interior designs are done by orange color fabrics and chestnut wood trims. The interior is looking soo classic than all other newly released cars and SUVs. But the designs of the center console, steering wheel, and the instrument cluster is very similar to the other newly released Mercedes Benz models. The center console designed with an arm rester with the trackpad. We can keep our hands on the arm rester and control the infotainment as a laptop trackpad. Also, the steering wheel featured with two trackpads with other usual multifunction buttons. We can access the cruise control option using left side controllers and other options using right side controllers. The infotainment system display and the driver's digital display is designed as a single panel but as divided two displays.
Mercedes Benz GLB Exterior
This car is designed with box shape as above mentioned and the front design basically looks like Mercedes Benz X class. Tires are a little bit similar to the mud/ all-terrain tires because of this car designed with some off-road capabilities than GLA and GLC classes. Also, the roofs designed with large roof rails and it's looks like a toy car.
This car specially featured with roof-mounted spotlights. Also, the headlights are powered with Mercedes Benz Multibeam LED technology. With this technology, they designed the headlight with 84 individually controlling pixels with the aid of these pixels we can use our full beam of lights without disturbing oncoming drivers. Also featured with LED day time running lights and turn signals.
