What is Land Rover?

Land Rover is the legend in the off-road automobile category. Not only in the off-road automobile category but also manufacture Luxury Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs). This is one of the British four-wheel-drive brands. All the model manufacture by Lant Rover Company, are very popular in the world. Land Rover Discovery, Land Rover Defender and Land Rover Freelander are some of them. The land rover premium level is calling Range Rover. We can find some other models under this category. Range Rover Autobiography, Range Rover Vogue, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover Velar are some of them.

Defender

Defender is most off road capable vehicle in Land Rover Family. The first defender launched in 1948 at Amsterdam Motorshow. The Land Rover Defender developed with features and engine models up to now. Finally, The major change happened in the year 2019. The body design, features, and all other things are totally changed. Basically, the new model looks like old Land Rover Discovery 4.

Body Cover

The defender body isn't cover using paint. A body Paint isn't suitable for offroad vehicles because we can't remove the scratches without repainting the body. The Land Rover Defender is Exclusively Covered with a sticker (a wrap) and after off-roading, we can remove the sticker and apply a new one.

Interior

The interior of the Land Rover Defender 2020 is totally different from the old version. The new design is inspired by the new Range Rover but, not without that much of premium quality. There is two digital display on the dashboard. One is for the infotainment and the other one is for the gauge cluster. The dashboard is very simplistic and easy to use. But the materials are used are a little bit of low quality. Some iconic features of old defender are applied to this. Front passengers handle, front passenger storage area are some of them. Gear shifter design also inspired by the new Range Rover. The gear knob mounted on the dashboard and the floorboard is free from the dashboard. This new design helps to provide extra jump seat between the driver and the front passenger. These designs available only in 90 Short Wheel Base Version and we have normal center console at 110 long-wheelbase versions.

 Steering Wheel

Defender 2020 provides a rounded normal steering wheel with 4 bottom spokes. Basically, the horn mounted at the center of the steering wheel. We can access the multifunction option at the steering wheel to control our gauge cluster and control the infotainment system.

Seats

There are two types of seat arrangements. In 90 short wheelbase model have only two doors and 5 seats. In 110 model hae 4 doors and 7 seats. 90 model has average passenger spaces at the 2nd-row seats. Comparing the 90 models, 110 long-wheelbase model has large passenger area in second row and the third row. All seats are finished with hard leather materials for rough use. All seats are designed with comfortable headrests.
